Ranveer Singh is known to share a great equation with Akshay Kumar. The two appeared together in an episode of Koffee With Karan, and people fell in love with their bromance. Ranveer has a special appearance in Akshay's Sooryavanshi, directed by Rohit Shetty. And going by what we have seen so far, the two had a blast shooting for the project.

Ajay Devgn also has an extended cameo in Sooryavanshi, and the three superstars on Thursday launched the first song of Sooryavanshi - 'Aila Re Aillaa'. And now Akshay has shared a behind-the-scenes video of the song that features the kind of fun they had on the sets of the Rohit Shetty directorial.

In the video, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar can be seen dressed in police uniforms. Ranveer asks Akshay to perform the popular hook step of Housefull 4's song, Bala with him. As the two perform the step with much enthusiasm, Ranveer ends up hurting himself in the crotch.

Sharing the video, Akshay Kumar wrote: "Here's Ranveer Singh's and my Aila Re Aillaa step. Put your best, crazy dance foot forward and show me yours. Warning: Getting this step wrong can be harmful for future planning."


Notably, the second song of Sooryavanshi, featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, is slated to be released on October 24.

Sooryavanshi features Akshay Kumar as Anti-Terrorism Squad Chief DCP 'Veer Sooryavanshi' and Katrina as his wife. The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Vivan Bhatena, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer and Jaaved Jaaferi in pivotal roles. The movie features Ranveer as Simba and Ajay as Singham in extended cameos.

Sooryavanshi, the fourth film in Rohit Shetty's cop universe, was originally scheduled to release on March 24, 2020, but was postponed owing to the shutdown of cinema halls across the country, due to the Covid pandemic.
